High-End & Luxury Furniture Stores in Austin

Upscale furniture showroom with a tufted sofa, chandelier, and wingback chair in Austin

Austin’s upscale furniture showrooms fall into three groups. The Domain has the national luxury brands. Downtown and East Austin have the European design showrooms. A few long-running design centers sit on Burnet Road and out in Bee Cave.

Every showroom here is open to the public. None of them requires a designer. Addresses come from each store’s own website as of October 2026.

Stores that are gone

Older lists still name these. Do not plan a trip around them.

What you are paying for

Price alone does not tell you much. Ask these before you order:

  1. Where is it made, and from what? Ask for the frame material, the joinery, and the cushion fill in writing. Our leather guide explains leather grades.
  2. Is it stocked or made to order? Most pieces at this level are built after you order. Ask for the estimate in writing and what happens if it slips.
  3. What does design help cost? Several stores here include it. Others credit a design fee toward a purchase. Ask which.
  4. What does delivery include? At this price you should get in-home placement, assembly, and packaging removal. Confirm it. See the delivery guide.
  5. What is the return policy on custom orders? Custom fabric and custom sizes are often final sale.

If you want something built for one room, compare a local maker’s quote before you order from a showroom. See the custom furniture guide. For clean-lined showrooms at every price, see the modern furniture guide.
